How can I get rid of unopened message notifications after deleting messages?

So you'd go into your messages. And then in the top right, there's three dots. Make sure you're not sure that says unmarked. So you can mark all as read, and if it's not when you press it, you show archive messages, and then mark all as read. And then click on the three dots again, and then click mark all as read.
