Once we receive the phone, it would take one to three days, as long as we have all the parts, and then we'll be able to send it back. Send it back in two days' shipping.

You can try connecting it to the computer. So you can put the battery in, try to power it on. I know you said it doesn't turn on, but try pressing the power button, and then connecting it to the computer, and see if the computer recognizes the phone, and then you may be able to get some things off it like that.

So that's why I'm saying that if you're close to the Borough Park location, then bring it in as fast as possible.

The extension is 405, okay? 405? Yes. Okay, fine. So then I'll call you tomorrow and ask you, tell your boss the situation about the phone I will tell him.

You can try to plug your phone in now to try to get the pictures off, but for the contacts, you can't get the contacts without actually turning on the phone.

If you connect your phone to the computer and it shows up, you'll be able to get your pictures.

Yes, send it to the Borough Park location to be fixed. I'm not sure if the Monty location is self-repaired. You'd ask them, but I'd love to use that as the Borough Park location.

Okay, so you can send your phone in or you can drop it off at the Burrell Park location. Are you near the Burrell Park location?

You can come in today, or you can come back after the holidays. Either way, we're going to have to wait until we get the new shell.

You'd have to export them off the phone, but you need the screen to work, too.

What we're going to do is we're going to check to see how far the water got. If it got into the motherboard, then you would have to have the shell and the motherboard replaced, which is essentially like a new phone. If it just got to the shell, which is like the outer part, then we'd be able to switch out the shell and you'll still have all your information. But we wouldn't know until we get the phone and open it up and see how far the water got.

So, it would depend on how far the water got. So, if it's just the outer shell, then we'll be able to change the shell and the phone will work again. But if it gets to the motherboard, then there wouldn't be anything that we can do to save any of the information.

It's just that when water gets into the phone, the longer you wait, the worse it gets. So, you can try sending it to the Borough Park location. We can see what we can do.

But if it did, then that's going to be it for the phone.

I would say it's very slim that we could make it work again. It's been quite a while, and the fact that it doesn't turn on at all, sometimes the backlight is very dim and it still turns on.

That could mean that maybe it's just the screen, but as I said, the longer it's not open up and check to see if there's water, things can move around and can damage it more.

They haven't given us a grand opening date yet, but it's going to be pretty soon. It seems that they're putting the finishing touches on it.

No, they haven't given us where it is yet, because they don't want to tell anybody until it's open.

Rice is never fixed for a phone with, uh, um, with water damage. Okay. It's a myth. It's an old myth.

If you want to get a new phone, I can speak with my boss and see if we can provide you a discount and that's what we're going to try to do.

For water damage, we can try to see if replacing the shell works, but usually what happens is once the water gets into the motherboard, eventually it will destroy the inside of the phone as well. Your phone may lose all its data. So I recommend trying to make sure that everything is dry, so it doesn't get any further into the phone.
explanation 0/1
30%
Yes, so we can fix that, you know, we can replace the shell. If it only got into the outside of the phone, then once we replace the shell, it should be working fine. But if it gets to the motherboard, then we would have to replace the motherboard, and that's essentially getting a brand new phone, because it's going to be completely erased.

Just to let you know, we're actually out of shells at the moment, so the outer part of the phone, that's the part that we're replacing, and we're out of that piece, and we're not going to get any more in until after the holidays.

The Muncie store is, I think it's open from 11 to 7, let me just double check. Yeah, it's open from 11 to 7.

Yes, that would be a shell repair. That means the water hasn't gotten that far into the motherboard, as long as all the water is like dry from the phone and it doesn't go any further, yes.
